About Me

Me

This is the bit of the website which oozes still more narcissism than any other bit of the website. This page is called ‘about me’, and lives on a website which is simply my name enclosed by “www.” and “.com”.  I’ve treated you to a large picture of me (above), and now I’m going to talk about me. If you don’t like me, you must dislike yourself a fair bit, as you’ve navigated yourself not only to my own website, but to the one page whose sole objective is to talk about me.

Anyway, me:

I was born in Essex in the second half of the nineteen-eighties, but unfortunately remember little about grooving to synth-pop in my cot or buggy. I lived near or in Ipswich until I reached the grand age of 18, after which I departed up north to get a history degree in the wonderful city of York. I took a year out after this, before beginning a teacher-training qualification which allows me to teach primary school children. I teach (as of July 2010) in a school in Inner London.

My main interests are chocolate, cheesey music, walking and cycling, movie-films, comedy, web design, philosophy, 19th century art and history, football (especially Ipswich Town), travelling in Britain, and politics.

That’s all you need to know.

About Other Things

If you want to find out about other things instead of finding out about me, I would question what you are doing on this page. This said, I am not a particularly useful entity to be finding out about, so your desire to find out about other things should be encouraged.

In this pursuit of knowledge about other things, might I recommend an encyclopaedia? They’re handy if you don’t know what you want to find out about. Just open one, and read. If you do know what you want to find out about, try that Google thing. I’ve heard it’s good.
